Installing Bitmunk In Multiple Locations

If you plan to use Bitmunk Personal Edition from multiple computers, you will have to follow this extra step after you install the client on the new computer:

To use Bitmunk Personal Edition from multiple computers requires you to copy one file to each new machine you install the client on - your profile. Your profile is used to digitally sign all messages on Bitmunk so that the person that you're communicating with knows that they are talking to a trusted person (you).

Your profile is a password protected file and resides in the profiles directory under the installation directory of the Bitmunk Personal Edition software. The default installation directory is:

C:\Program Files\Digital Bazaar\Bitmunk Personal Edition\profiles

The filename is your username with a .profile file extension. For example:

johndoe.profile

This file needs to be copied to the same directory on the new computer that you installed Bitmunk Personal Edition.
