Seller Terms of ServiceFrom DBWikiBy using Digital Bazaar's Bitmunk service to sell material as a seller, you agree and are bound to the following "Seller Terms of Service."
[edit] Summary of Terms
[edit] Detailed Terms of Service for SellersAll details associated with terms of service for sellers are listed below. [edit] Fees and ServicesBecoming a seller on Bitmunk is free. For every sale that occurs through your Sales Server, you will get a sales fee, that you have set on the particular ware that is sold, deposited into a Bitmunk financial account that you specify. The only time that you will pay money as a seller is if you are fined for providing a corrupt file on the network. You are not charged for listing digital works for sale or browsing for digital works to purchase. You are responsible for paying all fees associated with using Bitmunk. [edit] Identity VerificationIn order to sell creative works using Bitmunk, you must provide a valid credit card. Your credit card will be used to identify you as a real world entity. There is no exception to this rule. It allows us to protect our users from malicious behavior. We do not store your credit card number, it is only used to identify you and to deposit money into a Bitmunk account for future purchases. Every time you wish to deposit more money into a Bitmunk account, you will have to re-enter your credit card number. Your credit card billing name is stored, however, as it uniquely identifies you. You may use multiple credit cards to deposit money into your Bitmunk accounts, but the billing name must be the same. If you have any further questions about the use of your personal information, please see our Privacy Policy. [edit] FinesIf a buyer files a complaint against you for selling a corrupt file, customer service will look into the situation and give the buyer a valid replacement file. To prove that they received a corrupted file, the buyer must give us the file that was downloaded from you and that file must contain your digital signature - proving that you did, infact, sell them the file. If you are found guilty of providing a corrupt file, you will be fined an amount equivalent to the cost of processing the complaint and giving the buyer a free download from Digital Bazar. If you consistently provide corrupt files, you will be suspended from the network. If you continue to provide corrupt files after your suspension has been lifted, you will be ejected/blacklisted from Bitmunk. [edit] Products and PricingPricing on Bitmunk is determined by you, the creators of digital works, ISP's that provide the bandwidth for transferring those works, and our transaction fee. [edit] MinorsMinors (persons under the age of 18) are not authorized to use Bitmunk without the supervision of their parent or guardian. User accounts can be created for use by children, but the information contained therein must belong and identify their parent or guardian, not the child. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use Bitmunk under the supervision of your parent or guardian. [edit] Changes to Terms of ServiceFrom time to time we may need to modify our terms of service. We reserve the right to do so for any reason and without notice.
